It’s not an overly elegant place, but it has that Amazonian soul, allowing you to enjoy a good drink right in the city center. They have fans available, which is always appreciated in the town’s heat, and the bathrooms are very adequate, although somewhat small.
Remember, whenever you take a tourist to Lago Agrio, you have to have them try the traditional Sinchicara (either regular or aged), although I recommend the aged.
